The Brookvale Arts District (BAD) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting artists and creatives by hosting vibrant activations, events, and artworks that bring the community together.

At T&DA, we had the privilege of designing a series of BAD posters that, despite their name, are undeniably good. These posters take static visuals further by incorporating AR to infuse an extra dimension of life into the exhibitions hosted at BAD.

By taking advantage of  target-tracking technology we were able to overlay animations, provided by the artists and crafted in-house at T&DA, onto the posters. This creates the mesmerising illusion of artworks springing to life before the viewer’s eyes.

The animations we developed utilise either or both the power of AI with meticulous technical manipulation in Meta Spark and Lens Studio. The result? Immersive, reality-altering filters that transform the way audiences interact with art, making each exhibition an unforgettable experience.
