NSW is one of the most bush fire prone areas of the world and with millions of people exposed to this risk, fire awareness is of paramount importance.

In order to educate, how can the RFS get people to prepare a robust plan when they underestimate the severity of a bush fire?

With the help of VR goggles the participant is transported into an immersive, high impact, powerful learning experience simulating a bush fire situation.

T&DA worked with the Brand Pool and the RFS to provide a ‘very real experience’ for people who may be under threat of impending bush fires. We posed the question “how fire proof is your plan?”

The conversation is then continued with an automatic follow-up email to allow them to re-create the experience online and to complete their bushfire survival plan.
