T&DA has always been passionate about bringing sport to life in new and unexpected ways, and for years we’ve wanted to create an AR racing experience, but finding the right platform and partner was key. When the opportunity with Supercars and Pizza Hut came along, it felt like the perfect fit, a fun, interactive way to put fans right in the driver’s seat.

The foundation of the idea was to launch an industry-first campaign that puts Australians behind the wheel of a Supercar (virtually) ahead of the 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000. The teams at Pizza Hut & Supercars wanted an activation that looks to represent modern motorsport marketing at its very best: innovative, accessible, and commercially smart.

And that’s where T&DA came in and created Mount Pizzarama, the pizza-fied virtual AR racing mirror of the Mt Panorama racetrack, made via Play Canvas & 8th Wall. Pizza Hut customers had the chance to win a money-can’t-buy motorsport experience at the 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000, all they needed to do was scan any specially marked Pizza Hut box and conquer that delicious mountain.
